I started playing the violin when I was 5 years old. A few years later,
I began trumpet lessons. Late on, I learned a few more instruments as
well. I played clarinet and French horn in college and for two years
majored in Music Ed/Piano. Highlights of my musical background
include playing with HF-L jazz ensemble in the Essentially Ellington
Competition in Lincoln Center, NYC, and singing Bach's St. John
Passion and Die Fledermaus (an opera) in college.

What you most enjoy, or find especially
fulfilling, about being a part of Community Band: |
I am very honored to be a part of
the HFCCB. I love having an opportunity to continue playing with a great
ensemble! We have a lot of fun too =) |

Of the music we play, is there a type or piece
that is your favorite: |
My favorite
pieces are: Ralph Vaughan Williams' English Folk Song Suite for
Military Band, Alfred Reed's Russian Christmas Music, and
David Holsinger's On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss . |
