As a child I had piano lessons (with someone other
than my mother – who is a great piano teacher!), and started playing the
flute in 4th grade. I dabbled with the flute in college and
took lessons for a couple of years after college. When I moved to Honeoye
Falls, a neighbor urged me to pick up the flute again and join the band. I
am so glad I did!
