 I come from a musical family.  We were always singing, my mom played piano or organ, others played guitar.  I had 3 years of piano lessons.  In 5^th grade, I started on trumpet, then switched to Euphonium in 6^th grade.  I was inspired to play Euphonium by my brother, who played it as well.  In college, I played or sang in every possible music group on campus.  I love music!

What you most enjoy, or find especially fulfilling, about being a part of Community Band:

There is nothing like hearing a big band of great musicians.  I sometimes stop playing and just listen.  I’ve enjoyed getting to know people.
