Started drumming in 1960; level 6 snare solos 8th
grade through 12th grade; All State Orchestra 1968;
“professional” rock drummer 1969-70 (yeah, right – whoever heard of
“Joshua Gilhouly and His Leprechaun Marching Band”?; studio session kit
1969-70; snare, Sullivan County Community Orchestra 1970; you know the
rest. Oh yeah, proudest musical accomplishment was being Meghan’s
percussion teacher!!

Being behind a bunch of percussion in an ensemble
again after all these years (and learning timpani – who says you can’t
teach an old drummer new sticks?) |
