I spend  a lot of time helping out in my children’s school.  I love camping, hiking to the TOP of mountains, skiing, biking, skating, and my newest addiction is Sudoku puzzles.

I have been playing flute since I was 10.  Majored in Applied Music at Geneseo and earned my Masters in performance and pedagogy at the Univ. of Colorado.  Currently my mentor is Rebecca Gilbert.

What you most enjoy, or find especially fulfilling, about being a part of Community Band:

The friendships, and the relaxed atmosphere while still trying to make the best music possible.

Of the music we play, is there a type or piece that is your favorite:

I like the pieces that we really have to “sink our teeth into”.  The reward of pulling it off is great!!
