News/Announcements:
The band welcomes new
members. Due to the
level of music we play,
Director Lindsey J. Borden
recommends that potential new members have experience playing their
instrument at least at the high school level. Recent experience is not
necessary; some members join us after not having played their instruments
for many years. For these folks, much of the fun comes in rediscovering the
enjoyment that comes from performing in a band. Any instrument is
welcome!
Thank you for visiting our web site!
We look forward to seeing you at our concerts!

The Honeoye Falls Community
Concert Band has been active since 1988, providing community members with the opportunity
to perform in a concert band, and providing the community with the opportunity to hear
live band concerts. The band receives financial support from both the Village of Honeoye
Falls and the Town of Mendon, as well as from individual and corporate donations and
fund-raising events.
The band typically plays around ten concerts per year, including our
Fall Concert, two Winter Concerts, a Spring Concert, and
performances at Rush Hometown Days and Honeoye Falls Festival on the
Green. We conclude our season with a concert near the end of July
and have the month of August off.
Other concerts we usually play
each year include a concert for a selected charity, as well as
performing at firemen's carnivals and other community events such as
Honeoye Falls' Music and Movies at Harry Allen Park and at the
annual school-based fine arts festival Cougar Creations.
Rehearsals are held on Thursday nights from 7:30 to 9:45
at the Honeoye Falls-Lima High School band room. Click here for the band
information sheet! Anyone
