Why donate to the Honeoye Falls Community Concert Band?
As a non-profit community organization, the Honeoye Falls Community Concert Band relies upon its community in order to continue making music.
Where does the money go?
Most donations made to the band go towards the band’s general expenses such as purchasing new music, building usage, maintenance on band-owned instruments and equipment, insurance, publicity, etc. Donations from our spring concert typically go towards the band’s annual music scholarship, awarded to an HF-L High School senior planning to pursue a degree in the performing arts.
Currently, we are also saving up to commission and perform an original piece for our 25th Anniversary in 2013. More information on this special milestone will be announced to the public in the coming months.
How can I make a donation to the band?
There are many opportunities for you or your business to donate to the band, and all of them are 100% tax-deductible. Local businesses that donate to the band will be recognized in the programs for our indoor concerts, as well as linked in the “Sponsors” section of our website.
